Jeanette, I just read your article over at
LadyPens about teens and
their credit. I smiled reading the article. My
daughter is 23. She has an IRA. She has a few
credit cards, and she has money in the bank.
Yesterday, we were out shopping. She applied for a
store credit card and boy was the manager of the
store surprised when she was approved with a very
high limit. My daughter has NEVER paid interest on
a credit card so was very surprised when the store
told her the interest rate was over 20 percent.
Anyway, thanks for the great article, I sent my
